I'm having trouble Saving. My controllers don't help.

So, I use SNES9x Gx 4.2.5, FCE Ultra Gx 3.2.3, and Visual Boy Advance 2.2.2.

Every time I go and try to save, it either freezes with a black screen and a bunch of numbers, or just won't save even after it says "Save successful"

Oh, and it's also giving me problems with my controllers. I try to use the Wiimote, but like I'll be able to press a button or two and have the game react the way it's supposed to, but then I have to use my Gamecube controller.

That's another problem because I can't even attempt to save because apparently you're supposed to press Left on your C button.

Well, Here's where the other saving problem occurs. It'll automatically (After I press C Left) have a thing where it says "Saving" and it'll have a loader thing. I've waited like 2 hours on it to save and it does nothing.

So, since it's basically frozen on that saving page, I have to restart my Wii by pressing and holding the power button for about 5 seconds... Can somebody help me please? D:
