Gecko Patch File? Huh?

OK, so Gecko OS 1.8 were released, with a bunch of new features and yadda, yadda, yadda.
But does anyone know how to use the patching feature?

Like, how you create the Gecko Patch Files, what you can do with them, that stuff.
