why won't my classic controller work for VBAGX1.0.3?

for some reason my classic controller won't work. my gamecube on does, and the others as well, so why won't the classic con. work. the CC works fine with other emus too. its just VBAGX1.0.3. how do i fix this?

Make sure you connect it to the wiimote after you start the emulator.

Your welcome. Most (all) apps have that problem with expansion controllers.
