Issue with FCE Ultra GX and Top Gun

I've been trying to play Top Gun and essentially all I get is the top part of the screen looking like the bottom, as if the sky was replaced by it. I then tried to get to the landing sequence and everything but the radar stuff was black.

Is there any chip that was supposed to be used for the game?

No should run like its suppose to, could be a bad file.

I have been having the same issue.. I have tried every top gun rom I could find, and they all display like this.

try running top gun on wiiMednafen,, it plays just fine. I think it has to do with the doublestrike support.
The game runs slightly slower than normal, but its decent :)
