What does Priiloader do?

I installed this Priiloader because Bootmii sends me back to the Wii System Menu when I launch it. So I want to know what does Priiloader even do and what should I do with it?

If you don't know what it does you shouldn't have installed it.

Priiloader is the best form of brick security out there, besides BootMii as boot2. Holing down RESET as you power on your Wii will take you to the Priloader Menu, which can take you to Wii Menu, HBC or BootMii. You can Autoboot, too.

I think priiloader is my best brick protection like @JjStAr is talking about. When I had theme brick and I was saw a black screen when I turn on my wii, but when I press reset right after boot up and priiloader screen popped up. So I was be able to launch the HBC and restore it. Also there are many system menu hacks available in priiloader such as like enable region free on your wii or even you can enable to move disc channel which can't move before. Again, priiloader is your wii lifesaver so I recommend you install it.
