Wii Update

Hi there,

I installed homebrew onto my Wii about a month ago running. My system is running 4.0

Everything is running fine apart from when you load the wii, where the disc icon is to play a game, it's replaced with wii system update logo and won't let me play a normal game until I do this so I use gameloader in homebrew to launch my games however some of my original games it won't accept. How can I get rid of the update request so as I can just launch a game as usual or... is it safe to do an update?

it should be completely safe to update... unless you followed one of them guides on GBAtemp.
