How likely is my Wii going become a "brick"

I only have the Homebrew Channel and apps downloaded from the Homebrew Browser.
I would like to know if I ever do decide to update the system how likely is it that my system would be bricked?

I don't think its very likely (unless you install crap onto your wii). I still wouldn't suggest updating, though.....
