Deleting all traces of homebrew

So i had homebrew on my Wii for a long time but now i want to completly remove it so i can update my console 'n stuff normally like my console never was soft-modded in the first place.

So,i heard about using AnyTitleDeleter and then formatting my Wii,but what do i delete in ATD?

And i know this may seem noob, but how do i install ATD on my Wii?

Just run the hackmii installer and un-install it. If you installed bootmii and DVDx, you can uninstall them via the hackmii installer, too. Unless you installed other things (cIOS and such), that will get rid of everything.

Well,if i remember well, all i did was install everything from the HackMìi installer and install homebrew on HBC,so i guess that will work.
But how do i know if my Wii is completly clean?

And to use the HackMii installer, can i use the lastest one even if i used an older version?
And to run it i put it and Bannerbomb on my SD Card and run them?(I have 4.0,so i can use the old Bannerbomb)

Yes. Just redo the steps that you did when you first installed it.

If all you installed was the contents of the hackmii installer, then once you uninstall those, your wii will be "clean." IIRC, the wii puts the use of the HBC in the play records on the message board. I'm not sure though....

Yeah,it says that i play HBC in the message board.
Does that cause a problem?

So...i'm alright with using the lastest version of HackMii?

Can i use my SD Card that already has all my homebrew stuff on it or do i need to use a new one?

Sorry for all the troubles,i'm a bit paranoid with this stuff :P

You can use the same SD card.

It depends on your definition of "problem." :P
Why are you deleting all traces of homebrew?

Haha sorry,i'm a bit impatient too :P

By problem i mean will it still make my Wii ''modded/altered''.

Well,i don't really use my Wii anymore and i pre-ordered Tatsunoko V.S. Capcom and it will probably be the only game i'll ever play on my Wii.

So,i want a fresh start and i want to be able to use my Wii like it is unmodded.

Oh,and thanks!

Yeah, the play history doesn't really matter. I'm glad you solved your problem. :)
Re: Deleting all traces of homebrew

Well,i haven't tried yet.

And you said Yes as in Yes it causes a problem and after that you say it dosen't matter?
Re: Deleting all traces of homebrew

Well, I wanted to know your situation first. Now that I know you just want to get rid of all the modifications you've applied, the play history doesn't matter. Its just that lots of people have come here asking the same question as you are, and they want to get rid of they're play history. The play history really doesn't matter.

Ah ok,i see.

But why do people want to delete their play history?

Just to know.

If there is any evidence of homebrew on a wii that is sent to Nintendo for repair, they will refuse to fix it. If you ever need to send your wii in for repair, you must delete your play log if it contains evidence of homebrew.

I'm in the HackMii installer and it says i can install HBC and stuff but it dosen't say i can unistall them...

jbc007:Oh,so i may want to delete my play history, how do i do it?

Are you sending your wii to nintendo? If not, then you don't need to delete your play history.

Hey guys, look at my previous post.

Waxy:Nintendo are A-holes.
Seriously, what's the frickin' problem with homebrew?

Well,my Wii's disc drive may break or something,so...yeah.

Also, how do i unistall the stuff via the HackMii installer?

Once you launch the hackmii installer, you press continue. Then, the screen should say "Install Homebrew Channel" and underneath, it should say "Un-install Homebrew Channel."

I can't help you with the play history, I'm really not sure how to delete that.

Thats interesting...It should. Are you using the latest version?

If you skip to 3:52 of this video, it should say that on your screen.
