A general question about BootMii...

Just wondering, what is the utility of installing BootMii as an IOS if you cannot access it if your Wii bricks? It's my understanding that you can only run BootMii before the system menu starts if you have it installed as boot2. If it's installed as an IOS, you can only run it from the Homebrew Channel which you would never be able to get to if you had a bricked Wii.

EDIT: Never mind, I think I figured it out. You would have to use preloader/priiloader to access the HBC and then run BootMii from there, correct?

BootMii as IOS doesn't provide brick protection as you proved, but it does allow you to backup your NAND and also lets you use MINI.
