Own Channel

I was recently asked what would be involved in creating a channel (a la the Homebrew Channel sat on the system menu) but as I have only just dipped my toe into Wii Homebrew - amazing how the sudden impending threat of system 4.0 finally motivated me to do it, as I had been intending to for so long - I don't have a clear idea of what is involved, other than I'll need to install it as a wad. Any suggestions for tutorials?

If you're thinking about making a Wii channel, I would be glad to help. Although I've never made any Homebrew applications nor any channels so it would be my first time. (Like they always say "There's a first time for everything"). =D
