Interested in a project? Gfx+sound+text (and maybe GUI)

My friend is writing great cross platform code. I am interested in writing a wii backend for it. I tried talking him into opening it to the homebrew community. He says he will open source it but only if people help. Otherwise he'll do his own thing with it. Are you guys interested in helping?

Its 2d using a similar interface as SDL but uses polygons with opengl on windows. Has an optional SDL backend which doesnt allow as many freedom (HW stretching), has text (freetype), image (freeimage) and a set of code that does animations and other fun stuff. With an early version i programmed/debug a test app on PC then built it for the wii using the template makefile and did almost no work. It ran the exact same way. This should speed up our wii productivity and debugging.

Whos interested? i'll have to talk him into releasing some code then you can agree to be on board or not. I want to know whos actually interested in his code so i can show him it isnt just me.
