im not sure how or if this help for those who are trying to hack the wii but, i have dance dance revolution(ddr) for wii and you have to use the gamecube ports for the mats.my question is if its a wii game and it uses gamecube controller ports. is there anything u can do since to my knowlegde they pretty much ran seprately.

Yes, we know that you can run gamecube controllers and wii controllers at the same time. Look at the homebrew game Masteroids which pulls that off seamlessly.
