Hi my friend,

My WII in 3.2E have banner brick there is few day. ( I have the Health screen, but when i press An the WII freeze)

I have BootMii in boot 2.

I have a dump, but, when i restor the dump, there is NO CHANGES :(

I have running DOP IOS from The HBC, and i have réinstall all the IOS from 9 to 61.
Next, i have installing the system menu 4.1E.

Now, i don't have the health screen :( :(
Just a black screen ( my WiiMote are synchronised )

I think thaht i have a problem on my NAND and i search a solution in order to format my NAND ( but i don't want to LOST Boot2)

Do you know an homebrew which can help me to format my NAND ?
I have try Comex Nand Formatter, but it appear that this homebrew is not OK.

Thanks a lot my friend , thanks a lot,

Regards,

Nixeus

Which version of IOS60 does dop-iod mod say you have installed? If it's 6400 you need to downgrade it to 6174.

To fix a banner brick, you need to uninstall the WAD that caused the brick; there is no need to format your wii. If you can still access the Homebrew Channel and you still have the bad WAD on your SD card, run the program that you used to install the WAD and have it uninstall the WAD. Alternately, you can use AnyTitle Deleter to delete the WAD.

If this does not fix your wii, you may also have an issue with your system menu or its IOS. You can fix this by installing a new system menu and the correct version of its IOS. For system menu 3.2, you need IOS 30 version 1040 and for 4.1 you need IOS 60 version 6174.

Try uninstalling the WAD first, since that is probably all you need to do to fix your wii.

Have you deleted every channel on your Wii that is not Nintendo-made, WiiWare, VC, or the Homebrew Channel? If you haven't, you don't need to format your Wii yet. Delete all other channels first.

If you have ios 60 v6400 with menu 4.1 that's your problem since 6400 is a stub ios. You need to downgrade it to v6174 using dop ios mod. To do this you'll need a trucha ios.

if you don't have one, use trucha bug restorer to downgrade ios15 and then patch ios36 with trucha and identify.

then run dop ios mod to downgrade ios60 to 6174, if it fails you'll need my patched any title deleter which'll allow you to remove the system menu ios (ios60) then reinstall ios60 with dop ios mod.... :)

i was in this boat last week... ;)

You should not need to format your NAND, but if I am not mistaken, you will have to use Comex's NAND Formatter if you choose to format it.

If you did not install a bad channel WAD, than what did you do to get a banner brick? That may help us figure out what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix it.
