Hello, i'm from Brazil but i can talk in english,

recently i've installed PreLoader 0.29 on my Wii 4.2U, because i wanted to put some Wads on it, but after installing the PreLoader, the Wii bricked!

It says: "System files are corrupted. (...)"


Can someone give me light? :(

PreLoader is working, systemmenu not, when i try to load homebrew channel it says

Error autobooting HBC. maybe title not installed?

oh, and i have the Twilight Hack, but i think this won't help.

My Wii have a modchip, DriveKey , thanks.

I actually had this exact problem a couple days ago.

When you first install Preloader, the Preloader config needs to be pointed at the system file for the system menu, else it attempts to load the default, wrong file, finds that it isn't the menu, and believes it to be corrupt. I believe the correct file is IOS36.

And launching HBC doesn't work because Preloader can't recognize newer versions of HBC. I understand newer loaders, including Priiloader, are better about this.
