See if that helps. But do this when the health and safety screen is on.

This does not work. In my first post I mentioned I tried it with three wiimotes. Yes the Wii goes past the health and safety screen but I cannnot access any of my channels because my wiimotes do not connect.

Holding the sync button on the wii for a long time clears the list of synced wii motes. This sometimes helps.Quote
