Wii not starting, showing lights or any other sign of life

Greetings!

So I installed the Homebrew Channel a few months ago. It worked fine for 3 weeks or so, but one day when I tried to start the wii, nothing happened. I noticed no lights where on, or anything. Checked cables etc, they are all plugged in properly. My question is, could this have anything to do with the homebrew channel installation? Afaik I didn't do any modifications to bios etc. My guess is its a hardware failure, but just thought I'd check with some pro's.

So there is no light on red or orange or anything, check the plug make sure its plugged in it could be the power supply is bad, and no HBC had nothing to do with this.
