DVDX and twilight princess question

1) I am going to buy this game and was wondering should a buy a new or used copy. Im thinking the new one would be better
2) Will dvdx work with all dvds

1)Rent? Unless you want the game to actually play of course.
2)Not all. But it should work with nearly all of them.
