Precautions

I just installed preloader without knowing what it does.
Now, the preloader menu comes up everytime.
How can I uninstall preloader?

EDIT:Ok, I used AnyRegionChanger to uninstall it. Now, it's fine.
Ok, now, I want to know another thing. What are some measures you could take to ready yourself if the Wii ever bricks?

once preloader is installed, you just have to change a setting to have it boot to the menu or the HBC.

To reply to your edit: Bootmii is the best precaution you can take. Hopefully you wont have to wait much longer for it.

Yeah, I did change it to boot it to the System Menu, but it made the booting a little bit slower, so I deleted it.
What is bootmii anyway?

yeah, it will take a few seconds longer, but I think it is worth it...

bootmii will change the boot 2 of the wii in order to boot straight to a whole custom system menu I believe. Kindof like preloader going to the HBC...
