step by step guide

hi all,
im new on here and was wondering if anyone could help me fix my sons wii ?(get homebrew on it)
ive looked at a few solutions but they all go straight over my head as im not the best on the computers,what im looking for is a (simple idiots guide)
step by step guide made easy.........can anyone help? the version is 3.1e
