I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not, but here it goes:
Ok, I'm having problems trying to connect to the internet through the Wii (for applications such as the News, Weather, or Everybody Votes Channel). I have 3.3 firmware on my Wii right now IIRC. Is the reason none of the internet based connection channels are working because I have yet to update? My DS works fine for the internet, but the Wii won't, it seems likely that it's my lack of updating, but I'm not entirely sure. Thank you for your time and patience.
