Whenever i try to laod homebrew

I get a black screen i successfully got the home brew channel to work but whenever i install something and try to load it my wii gets stuck on a black screen somebody said i need to downgrade because i am on 3.4 but when i try the down grader it also goes to just a black screen.

Edit: If theres no fix to this i'm going to cry :-( cool hombrew was the only reason for me buying the wii

Could be a problem with your SD card. You might want to try another one.

thank you for your reply it lets me intall hombrew from the sd card but once it is loaded on the wii it will open to a black screen so i don't think it's the sd card but i heard the new wii i bought is one of the new onse that includes the 3.4u that lets you install hombrew but wont let you open it so it makes sense i guess.
