Downgrade system menu?

Is there any way, besides formatting my Wii, to downgrade the system menu from 4.0 to 3.4, then upgrade back to 4.0 after I do the twilight hack?

1. Formatting won't downgrade anything
2. Why?
3. There's nothing you can do to downgrade from 4.0

Why? Because I need to use the twilight hack again and system 4.9 wont allow me to copy it over to the system memory.

do you already have the HBC on your Wii?

if not, then there would be NO way to downgrade yet anyway...


currently, we can not run unsigned code on a fresh Wii with 4.0

I had the twilighthack on my Wii 3.2 with working homebrew and everything, but then my wii didn't read disks anymore and I had to delete everything to send it back to Nintendo. I got a brand new Wii from Nintendo today and was really excited, but that was untill the update!!!
Now I also have 4.0 on my Wii and I can't install anything :( And I understand I have to wait, but I really hope it will be solved soon...

Just to clarify, the twilight hack still works, it just cant be copied to the Wiis memory from the SD anymore. So a new hack will have to be released to install the HBC.

Ok thank you, I'll just wait for the new hack, unfortunately I don't have another way to get the hack on my Wii other than my SD-card...

Actually, there is no other way to get the hack on your Wii than via a transfer from your SD card. So ATM, everyone who doesnt already have the HBC installed is waiting for a new hack.

I had a wiikey 2 with wiiclip build in yesterday and everything works fine now with 4.0e.
Thank god... I'm not going to update anymore, just in case.
