unable to initialise network

please please help!

I'm new to this and not really sure what im doing I've followed all steps for the twilight hack but my wii is uable to intialise network. I've never connected to the internet via the wii could this be the problem. Gratefull for any advice given

Slow down. where abouts do you want to initialise network? What is already installed?

So far I have placed the sd card into the wii, loaded the hack, went on the game, talked to the talked to the man, then the black screen had come up, but instead of giving me instructions on what to do next it just repeats unable to initialise network

what is the boot.elf or boot.dol you are using?

I am using boot.dol homebrew browser v0.3.2 downloaded from wiibrew

the author was Teknecal

my wii is version 3.1E
