Can Nintendo brick me?

Can Nintendo brick me?

I know this sounds like a silly question. I know I sound paranoid, but I don't want to lose a $250 Wii. But I got bored of Homebrew and bought Rock Band 2. So I've downloaded some songs, and I'm running out of space. Can I be bricked if there are still remnants of Homebrew's software on my Wii (I deleted it to make space, but I have no idea if it leaves anything behind)? I also need to use my SD card because songs take up loads of memory (like 100-300 blocks, seriously.) To make space, I've moved all my Homebrew stuff back onto my computer - I THINK. Just to be on the safe side, if I connect to the internet and downloaded something onto an SD card that may have some Homebrew software on it, can/will Nintendo brick my Wii, or am I just being my usual too-careful self?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I don't cheat online, so I guess I'm good. Now to download one more song with my 200 Wii Points.

No. If they did (intentionally) you could sue them.

I for one would love to see a homebrew-positive legal ruling.

yeah. Nintendo not letting people run homebrew is like Microsoft not letting people run Linux on their computers.

Apples and Organes
Microsoft = OS, Nintendo = the whole thing

So far there is no Anti-Homebrew law or ruling.
On the other hand there is no need for a law, that enforces homebrew.

replace Microsoft with Apple and....

Apple=everything (OS & Hardware) Nintendo=everything (OS & Hardware)
