The UNO card game might need to be recompiled to work with the latest HBC (1.0.3). I'm not sure though, because I don't use that app....
With Super Mario War, try downloading it manually from Wiibrew.org instead of the homebrew browser. When downloading from the browser, it wouldn't work for me, but after downloading it from wiibrew.org, it worked fine.
When using any app, I generally take out all external devices, because sometimes it makes apps crash/freeze. So if you have any external devices (USB device,GC controller/Memory card, etc.) try taking them out before launching your app.Quote

DVDx is a hidden program. You don't launch it like an application after the installation process. The reason it wouldn't work from the homebrew browser is beacause that version is outdated. To launch a DVD, get the MPlayer CE app.
