Wii emulator questions.

Okay I have quite a few questions about emulators on the Wii. There are quite a few so bear with me please.

1. Can I play ROMs I have saved on a USB through Homebew?
2. Do I have to keep doing the slow process of downloading a ROM, extracting the file, and putting it onto my SD card in order to play it on the Wii, or is there an easier way?
3. Is there any way to put the ROMs on the Wii instead of the SD card (kind of like a Virtual Console game)?
4. Is there a good working PS1 emulator for the Wii that runs smoothly? How about a good N64 emulator? Or should I just hack my PSP instead for those two?

4) not yet. there IS a psx and 64 emulator, but they're both very slow.

huh...? sorry, I didn't know. I don't use emulators.
