At Homebrew Channel Screen, Just See Bubbles? (Globe Solid)

Alright, so i installed homebrew channel on my 3.3u, i went through zelda, walked backwards. installed bootmii, and the homebrew channel, and dvdx or whatever it is. then im done, well actually the screen goes black and says an exception has occured, i dont think it effected me though.

i log back in, hit the homebrew channel, and the globe blinks, and then turns solid, and thats it. i know home brings me to the system menu and i try reloading it a couple times, no dice. I also tried resetting my router and turning off downloads/uploads with bittorrent, like someone else reccomended and no dice. im basically just staring at bubbles, with an unlit lizard and a lit solid globe, any ideas?

Get an application to run from [wiibrew.org].

i got applications to work by uploading apps to the sd card, but how do i connect through the homebrew channel to download apps so i dont have to take my sd disk out everytime?

any ideas?
