Homebrew black screen

Hey people,

When I click on the Homebrew channel on Bootmii all I get is a black screen. Nothing happens, then I have to turn the power off and on again.

I used Bannerbomb with HackMii Installer v0.2 from this site: [bootmii.org]
All other menu's on Bootmii open fine. I installed Boot 2.

I have firmware version 3.1e (it is a PAL wii). The Bootmii version is beta 2.

What have I done wrong? Please can you help?

WiiSCU

Put the boot.dol from this app on the root of your SD card, and load it using bannerbomb. Once you've gotten into the app, update IOS 60. Then, uninstall/reinstall the homebrew channel with the hackmii installer.

OK...many questions here.
When i go to update ios60.....what does -trucha and +trucha mean? which do i use?

Then...how do i uninstall and reinstall homebrew? I dont see an option for it in that menu screen?
Can you please be more specific for this noob?

-turcha means without trucha bug, +trucha means with trucha bug. I'd advise you go for +trucha, because you can on your firmware, and it means you have more trucha IOS, which is a good thing. On higher firmwares you can't, thats why -trucha option is there.

And to uninstall/reinstall HBC, run HackMii Installer via bannerbomb again, and go to Homebrew Channel, select uninstall, wait till it has uninstalled, then select Install.
