noob question about funtionality

planning on using banner to mod my wii. questions as to original funtionality that comes to mind:
1-will i still be able to use shop channel
2-will rockbands songs purchased pre mod still work
2a-will i be able to buy more
3this one is stupid i know, will i have to leave all the files on the memory card after the mod is complete.
