Can't download apps

I have doNe all the installs.
Home brew working fine
my problem is when I try to download a app the wii freezes
any ideas ?
Also what app do I use to play home brew games off
the DVD

You have the HomeBrew Channel correct? If so use the Homebrew Browser to download apps and then games that you downloaded will appear on the Homebrew Channels screen.

That's what I am doing when I click download it just freezes

Then download them manually from WiiBrew.
