Grid View on HBC

Any way to have the grid view for the apps show up as default? Everytime I load up the HBC it keeps switching to the "tiled" view.

Im afraid my coding knowledge isnt as good as the devs but it must be fairly simple to do right? Just a simple config file in the root of the SD card which HC looks for at startup? It could also be used to store the sort options and maybe force 4:3 for those that need it.
