several noob issues...

Hi, I've had homebrew installed since 2008, am currently running system menu 3.2, and am running into some issues, I was wondering if you guys can help answer my problems.

1. The homebrew browser doesn't work, it keeps giving me an error...10076 I beleive.

2. Whatever apps I put in the apps folder, they don't show up on the homebrew channel

Sorry if I am sounding stupid...I can provide any more information if needed.

1.)Do you have an internet connection set up on your wii?

2.)That is most likely because you have it set up incorrectly. Make sure its set up like this:

ROOT:/apps/the_app_you're_using/boot.dol

1. yes, I do, and I can connect I just get an error as I load the list of homebrew

2. Here's an example Root/apps/VBA_GX/apps/vbagx/boot.dol

1.) I'm not sure what that means, then...

2.) You messed it up. It needs to be:

Root/apps,VBA_GX/boot.dol

not

Root/apps/VBA_GX/apps/vbagx/boot.dol

The bold part is where you messed up.

my Wii was bricked by Nintendo about two weeks ago.

It's a Korean model which Nintendo in the USA will NOT even fix if I begged them to pay for it even.
yes, I called them & begged.

it updated to 4.2 & after that it shows error:003 unauthorized device has been detected

I can't get into it using the pre-loader (holding reset on power on)

I can't get in using a gamecube controller in port 4 holding all the directional buttons....
it's actually a controller from GameStop, but designed for GameCube
I had to take it almost completely apart to be able to press all those buttons at once.

I consider putting in a mod chip, Drivekey, Wasabi DX, or WiiKey Fusion
mine is the newer D3/D2Nothing (D3-2) type drive

will any of these mod chips or a flatmii/flatmod or SaveMii help me to recover my bricked Wii ?
