BannerBomb messing up my sd card

well i had downloaded a pack of bannerbomb files off of a link on youtube
once i ran all procedures.... he said delete the boot.elf and WadManager 1.4.dol
and once i TRIED to do it it said it was write protected...
so i tried to delete the other files so i can start over <_< and it didnt let me
the WHOLE sd card is write protected and i CANNNOT take it off no matter what
i tried the switch on da side and also from da command prompt..... nothing seems to work
if some one knows what to do plZ!!! reply!!
p.s....
i already had homebrew i just decided to update the wii ...cause i was curios....and tried bannerbomb

What failure guide did you follow?

ummm idk to be exact it was back in October..... and i cant find the vid in my history.... all i kno it was a black dude talking...

have you tried formatting the SD. BTW, this isn't one of those sites that blocks other sites.

If its write-protected, it means the switch on the SD card is switched to "on". Make sure its switched to "off".

i did.... its on off everytime i take it out or wen i stick it in

ummm....yea i tried formatting it.... it says cant format cuz its write-protected

hmm.... and your Wii says it's write protected?

no only my computer WHEN i try to delete sumthing or add something to the sd card

tried that..... i posted it before...
icant reformat i cant delete i cant add anything to da sd card.....

You could try and track down an old Hackmii Installer 0.1 and install Bootmii/IOS and try to backup your NAND. This will erase everything on the SD, so backup first.

umm can u give me a link please?

and i dont want to back up anythin o_O....

i think i quite explained.... dat i CAN NOT ADD ANYTHING TO THE SD CARD.....

Sometimes, my computer spazzes and says that my sd card isn't inserted, or its corrupted, or whatever. After inserting/reinserting a few times, though, it works normally.
I think the reason this happened to me was because the little lines of plastic on the back of my sd card snapped off, and it wouldn't go in correctly.

i did this it didnt work i tried this numerous of times..... my freind told me to do that and it didnt work

there arent any avalible downloads for Hackmii Installer 0.1 i tried lookin everywhere and all it brings me to sites with versions 0.2 and above no 0.1's

Its because you have the write protection switch on your SD Card flipped on. Period.

no dude cant u read?.....i clearly said its always OFF not ON,OFFFFF....
....not rly dat hard to understand -__-.... its off its write protected and idk how to take it off....

Apparently you dont know what the write protection switch is. Go google image search it.
