Can't bet Bannerbomb to run

I've tried almost every version now and it either freezes, or I get a question mark in the box for the sd card. I follow the step by step tutorial, and for every version i've tried if done it both ways, through the channels menu, and sd icon in the main menu, and no luck. Any other way I can do this?

i get the same thing with verison 4.2u and all i want is dvd playback

Use v2 of Bannerbomb

i tried versions abd6a abd6b and abd69 all V200 and they all freeze up

Try using Smash Stack or Indiana Pwns.

so i need to have played one of these games to do this?

I've tried v2 of bannerbomb, and almost every additional version they have available for download. I'll have to try the other two methods I guess. All I can get is the screen to freeze, or a question mark in the memory card file.

If the screen freezes that generally indicates you're missing a boot.dol/elf

that's the file you copy from the hackmii installer right? boot.elf

Yes, make sure its in the root of your SD Card.

do i need to have the hackmii installer folder on there as well?

Nope. Just boot.elf and the private folder from bannerbomb.

ok well everything i try either freezes or i get a question mark and i don't have the games for the other one's

ok finally got homebrew to install now when i got to the channel all i get is blue screen with bubbles floating

thats all your meant to get if you have no apps.
