Likely silly question on updating homebrew?

Just installed homebrew channel on 4.2E, all fine and working well.
But when I use homebrew channel asks me to update/update from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6.
This I have done. But when I when back to channel later it's asked again, so I installed again, but still comes up every time I open channel.
So how to I install this correctly to stop it asking every time (Until next update) and does this mean starting install all over again?

Hmm, strange. Sure it is installing correctly when you accept the update?

Thanks SifJar. After thinking over your comments when back and found the problem.
After downloading update it comes up with text menu which already shows homebrew installed, did not know to install over the top of original just assumed it had already done so.
