4.1 vs 4.2

I just updated my Wii to version 4.1 from a Monster Hunter game disk...I went through the trouble to hook my Wii up to a power supply and was wondering, if I installed 4.2 from the internet, would it re-install the exact same boot2v4? (risking my Wii again)

I'd like the wii shop channel (the only thing I'd gain from 4.2), but if there's 1/1000 chance like said on hackmii.com...I'll stick with 4.1 until 4.2 comes out on disk, or a safer update (4.3?) comes out. Rather than risking the Wii twice.

It isn't risky to update to 4.2 via WiFi; just do it.
