Just was wondering if I do the system reformat in the wii menu how can I save the shop channel and others it says the will be deleted if not sent to a sd card ? And will in go back to the version before I updated to .2u ? Only had this for 1 week now want to get the most out of it would like not to have to use smash stack but if so I will . HAve to borrow on lol

Formatting your Wii doesn't "un-update" it. You will lose all your channels and saves and you will be on the same version you're on now.

thankx for the info would of wasted my time . Wish there was a hard reboot or something did not here about the brew until after I updated . And is the mario cart online play at the shop channel?

Anyways, if you want to install homebrew, you can use Smash Stack, Indiana Pwns, or Yu-Gi-Vah (if you are in the USA). If you have a PAL Wii (Europe/Australia) then you must use either Indiana Pwns or Yu-Gi-OWNED.
