Will HomeBrew work for me?

Hi, I have always been interested in homebrew but was always worried about messing up my Wii... well it appears the Wii went ahead and messed itself up on me anyway... I was getting black screen when trying to play any of my games so after reading numerous methods of removing it I finally gave in to doing a System Restore from the Wii menu... well after that now it says that my system files are corrupted and i can't get back to the wii menu... is there anyway for me to use HomeBrew or any other loaders etc... that will enable me to restore my Wii to factory default? or at least recover the system files in order to get to any kind of menu?...

Send it back in to Nintendo, if you haven't installed anything hombrew
