Streaming WII video to PC of network??
June 19, 2011 04:49PM
Hello All,

I travel often and would like to bring my WII with me to play. Unfortunately I don't have room for another monitor or TV. I was wondering if there was a good way to get video/audio output from the wii to display on my laptop LCD screen. I have done many hours of research only to find this EasyCap usb thing. Yes that might work but I was hoping there was another way. Can I use homebrew or something else to send my WII's video and audio data to my PC over the network or bluetooth? Only for display I don't care about recording. I just want to play.

Thank you,

There is no way other than a capture card such as that EasyCap one you mentioned.

Also, there is a bit of delay when using a capture card (at least with my Dazzle DVC100) so it's kind of hard to play straight from the computer monitor.
