Stupid Question but where do I find the games for the emulators?

Stupid question probably but I downloaded a bunch of emulators, which is great: now I need games. Where do you go to find the games for the emulators? I'm sure the answer to this is simple. Please can someone let me know A.S.A.P., thanks.

If you are referring to public domain, homebrew ROMs for retro consoles which can be run via emulators, a good source is pdroms: [pdroms.de]

Of course I simply meant the public domain, sorry for not specifying.
