NDS Homebrew Game port to WII

Hi,

Done a simple search through the forum and I can't seem to find an answer, so here goes.

I created a game for the NDS several years ago. I now want to port to the WII as the controller would be ideal. It is a space fighter trading game (people will recognise it, based on a classic BBC game).

I am looking at developing / testing on my WII, but I can't work out if i need to install the homebrew channel to do this.

My WII does not have internet access.

If you want to run homebrew, you need the homebrew channel, yes. And your Wii's internet connectivity is irrelevant for running homebrew.
