It'll probably say "have you run this before?" and it'll quit... You have to re-install the original IOS35 and then re-downgrade it with DVDx34

It still doesn't work :(
BTW Is it possible for one of you guys to upload a video showing how to do it? (I could easily be doing something wrong)

you could use dop-ios over at the wiki to downgrade ios 35 (or just trucha patch the newest one) try to do the same to ios 36 as well because that will help later with other apps

I don't think that will work, unless he has a cIOS. And he can't run the PatchMii Installer because he doesn't have an IOS that accepts fake signatures. I know of one way to legally obtain a cIOS without running the PatchMii Installer, but it uses even more unsupported software.

@neen
What are the first four letters/numbers of your Wii's serial code?

Oh yeah duh! I have cIOS for this exact reason. Some important apps use it!

What, like Warez loaders?

to be fair, i believe dop-ios does require cIOS as IOS 249 to work, which seems stupid. But other than that, it is for warez stuff only.

Yes, but I don't think they will install on his Wii as he doesn't have a trucha IOS. (Same as the PatchMii Installer)

well, depends on which method you use. online is definetly legal, i think WAD method is dodgy, but it should be legal if you get the WADs with NUSD.

someone should release a build of Dop-IOS that doesn't need Wanky's cIOS

Well, you could use the PatchMii one, but it is a clone of wanin's so...

but i agree, it should be able to use any random IOS with trucha bug. its completely pointless that it must have cIOS. but thats what it says on the wiibrew page for it.

right on the dop-ios readme it says "Make sure you have a cIOS installed on 249" due to the fact that this app could fix this guys problem i feel it is important!
i for one do not use any warez stuff due to the sole fact that most of it is illegal.
the need to use IOS 249 does seem a little ridiculous but whatever.
so read up on what you are talking about if you are going to ridicule me. thanks! :)

How did you install it, IOS16? That is illegal, you know :-)
Re: Wii AnyRegion Changer Help

no not ios 16
never touched any other ioses just ran the cIOS installer and then all my apps worked
i guess i was just lucky

there's no such thing as being "just lucky" with something like this. either you weren't on 3.4, or you used IOS 16.

Oh sorry for the confusion I meant 3.2 and I have always been able to update it I guess
once again sorry for the confusion
so is there any hope for this guys problem

Well, I believe he needs to try CMDVDX34 again, because seemingly the IOS 35 downgrade didn't work. What you must do is get an app called NandClean (or maybe Shared2Clean) and run it. I think either will do the job, maybe someone else can confirm. This will allow CMDVDX34 to run again. BTW, did CMDVDX34 give any error the first time?

it's shared2 clean
