I guess, it is a badly formatted TMD, that causes this issue.

But to be sure, I would have to know, how BootMii gets the IOS numbers.

Be honest, do you have any cIOSs or the bootmii ios installed? (Could help explain IOS 0)

i have a cIOS installed as 249 for legit purposes only (for apps like Dop-IOS) and bootmii as boot2 not IOS.
however i had bootmii as IOS to test it but later uninstalled it.

maybe it didnt uninstall properly and got corrupted so shows up as IOS 0?

i will try a re-uninstall and my question is will the non-existent IOS 0 cause any problems?
Edit: what about the IOS 255 as i recall that doesnt exist either
thanks so much for the help

IOS 255 can exist.
The number is possible, for example patchmii might have created it

you also have IOS250 awhich doesn't officially exist and System Menu (0x1A1 seems to be 4.0U) listed as IOS2
I think the (*) mark means the ticket is fakesigned, right ?
this would mean all these IOS were installed or patched by you (intentionnaly or not) using various applications

I did infact patch ios 36 60 and 35 and have a cIOS 249 but never touched anything else (installing wise) sooo i don know about these "non-official" IOS's.

EDIT:I did patch my system menu to get rid of the no-copy flags.

I believe title ID 1-0 (could be interpreted as IOS 0) is used to create a Super User ticket.

Actuaaly that plays into my second theory. An error while "informing the wii, that i am his daddy" could lead to an IOS

Hmmmmm... How exactly would this lead to an IOS ticket
Re: IOS 0 ?

For some reason the installer (which I never used myself) sees the system menu as IOS 2.
Of course, that is not unlikely, because the system menu has the title ID 00000001-00000002. That ID can be raed as IOS 2.

To create a super user ticket, to access all folders on the NAND, a title 00000001-00000000 is created.
That could be read as IOS 0
