Create a folder inside the "apps" folder on the same SD you normally use in your Wii. It doesn't matter what you call it. Then place the installer.elf from the BootMii download in that folder and rename the installer.elf to boot.elf. Then just run the HackMii Installer from the Homebrew Channel.
