Will Gecko OS brick my Wii if I update?

Hi everyone,

I used the Twilight hack a year or so ago and put Gecko OS on my Wii in order to play Naruto EX3. I don't have the Homebrew Channel or anything else, and I've just used Gecko for the one game, no updates or anything to Gecko.

If I buy New Super Mario or RE: Darkside Chronicles, and they want me to update, will it brick my Wii?
