I need help ASAP

Okay, so today i've been trying to get this together. i have a Mac OSX.
It doesn't have a SD reader, but i'm going through a camera, my SD card is 2G formatted right ect.
i went to my wii, deleted all the created stages, put the one on my sd card, did the whole 'privteold' thing,
got the smash stack and the hackmii. all that. and when i went back to my wii, and went back to the stage builder.
nothing happened, and i dont know what i did wrong?

EDIT: i also wanted to ask if i needed wireless internet of any sort. and the verion of my wii is 4.3U

How are you using a camera to put the files on?

I'm assuming with a USB cable for the camera?
