.dol files not reading { and some computer help needed }

well i formated my sd card tp fat 16

got the twilight hack privacy folder into the card


then the .dol home brew files then renamed them Boot.dol

{i think i need to do some extracting ????}

put in my card into my wii got the files on the wii played the game

but it would stop saying at the bottom there are no .dol files there are no elf. files

i know i did somthing wroung so i redownloaded the files and im trying to extract the homebrew .dol files but it keeps bringing me to notepad

so now every time i delete and re download the files i get it bringing me up to note ...... urgggg help please

im running on vista it stinks

Your file needs to be named boot.dol not Boot.dol They're case sensitive.

if what you are downloading is .dol, then it does not need to be extracted... you aren't changing the file extension.

make sure it is boot.dol and not Boot.dol...case sensitive! :)

oh, and you do have it in the root of the SD card right?

yea i just got it figured out i did neet to extract some files and i got the homebrew channel up in running now i just need to figure out how to get wiiload up in running ...... the instructions arnt that clear
