How do I run original wii software without the system menu?

My Wii can't run the original system menu for more than 5 seconds without crashing (overheating?). Bootmii and Homebrew Channel still work perfectly, and I can still launch disc games using Gecko OS. So I was wondering if there was a way to run the other channels that are currently installed on the Wii without using the system menu.

Gecko OS can load channels if you have a version of IOS36 that accepts fakesignatures (i.e. an old or patched version). We don't support patching IOS here so I can't give any further info than that.

There are also some other channel loaders, such as Triiforce and postloader, but they can also be used for piracy, so I can't provide anything more than their names here.
