Wii can't connect using local Wi-Fi

So I decided to give a try to those applications with SMB support built-in, but my Wii can't connect using Wi-Fi for some weird reason. Let me explain:

I want it to connect to my router (this router isn't wired to the internet, I just want it as a local gateway between my computer and the console), and I configured all the IP settings manually and everything is correct, but the firmware farts Error 52130, then the "Use This Connection" dialog is grayed out, hence it won't allow me to it.

Is there any way to override this behavior so it forcefully uses it despite not having wired access to the internet? the Wireless LAN works fine between all my systems, my phone can also work with it just fine to stream data so i'm certain it's not a router or network setting issue. The console just refuses to use it.
