Skipping the Wii System Menu updates included in game discs?

I'm pretty sure that a lot of people by now are aware that Nintendo and other videogame companies tend to include Wii System Menu updates on their games that can't be canceled/skipped. I find this very problematic since I wish to play new Wii games, while keeping the system version that allows me to run both homebrew and the Twilight Hack (something System Menu 3.4 doesn't quite allow as far as I'm concerned).

With this problem in mind, I was wondering if WiiBrew has an application of some sorts that allows to bypass the updates and go straight to the game. Is there?
